The European Week for Waste Reduction: if we each do our bit, we all benefit

The European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) is now in its 11th year, and it’s happening from 16 to 24 November. The initiative was created to raise awareness about just how much waste we’re all producing and how we must cut right back. Directed at families, schools, businesses and government, the campaign aims to change our lifestyles and consumption habits – for we all have a vital role to play every day if we are to meet the challenge.

Sustainability has always been fundamental to Menz&Gasser’s strategy for growth. We’re committed to reducing waste, and we’re constantly investing to achieve just that. We’ve made a breakfast time dispenser that offers jams and honeys in glass jars (the ultimate recyclable material). And we’ve installed water dispensers in our factories for every worker to fill their re-usable flask, thus cutting down on plastic bottle use. Every little helps!
