Our commitment to sustainability has reached a new benchmark: Menz&Gasser is now officially a registered UTZ member for our coffee supplies. UTZ, the Dutch NGO with a global reach, promotes sustainable agriculture to help farmers, workers and their families have a better life while protecting the environment and the natural world.
It is the largest certification programme for sustainable coffee in the world, with over 520,000 farmers and workers involved in 25 producing countries. Thanks to UTZ, farmers can adopt better techniques, boost their yields, and improve the quality of their crops, thus earning more money – all amid a culture of protecting the environment and safeguarding natural resources.
This new certification adds to the list that Menz&Gasser has now achieved to help us serve our customers throughout the world and meet consumers’ needs, be they dietary (gluten-free), ethical (organic and Fairtrade™) or cultural and religious (halal and kosher).
