Almost 7,000 entrants from over 20 countries in 45 years: that, in a numerical nutshell, is the Ciaspolada in Val di Non, the snowshoe race that Menz&Gasser has now been sponsoring for quite some time. The next event takes place on Saturday 6 January, and it’s a traditional feast of sporty fun for all the family. Every year, thousands of people descend on the Val di Non to take part as fun runners, serious athletes, lovers of the mountains, or simply to cheer on their friends.
The Ciaspolada is now the biggest popular snow event in the whole of Italy; it is so successful that it draws television crews from around 100 countries, from Australia to Saudi Arabia.
In line with our commitment to give back to the communities where we came from and where we work, Menz&Gasser now supports the event as something of a tradition, mirroring the values of togetherness, wellness and a love for nature that have always been our hallmark.
