The food intolerance demonstration tour for confectioners is now under way
Yesterday, Wednesday 30 October, the Hotel School in Cividale del Friuli near Udine hosted the first in a series of six events about food intolerances in the confectionery world.
Allergies and intolerances are a growing influence on Italian consumers’ shopping habits, making it increasingly challenging to meet their various needs. That’s why Menz&Gasser is running a roadshow of demonstrations on precisely this theme for all confectionery professionals.
The events will be led by pastry chef Gabriele Trovato, an expert on intolerances and a teacher at the IFSE haute cuisine and confectionery school. He will be offering a mix of theory and practice, presenting some simple dessert recipes that are attractive, tasty and above all easy to replicate in any confectionery company.
