Menz&Gasser jams take centre stage in a series of tastings and in-store promotions in New York this autumn, with a venture between Trentino Sviluppo and Eataly, the international network of eateries dedicated to the cream of Italian food.
The partnership seeks to bring Trentino’s finest food and beverage products to international attention and help them expand into overseas markets. Besides Menz&Gasser, another 14 companies from the region have also signed up. These products are at the heart of a packed programme that includes promotional efforts looking to reach the tens of thousands of New Yorkers who frequent Eataly stores plus B2B link-ups to develop new commercial partnerships.
The US is a key export market for Trentino and Italian businesses, and the upward trend shows no sign of slowing down. The States is the world’s no. 3 importer of Italian-made products and the no. 2 for goods from Trentino; the agri-food sector takes the lion’s share, with exports worth over €190.7 million (2017 figures).
